164 combat engagements took place on the front line in a day
Over the past day, Ukrainian defenders repelled 164 enemy attacks in various sectors of the front.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The Pokrovsk direction remains the hottest spot, with 53 combat engagements recorded.
In the Northern-Slobozhanske and Kursk directions, Russian occupiers launched six airstrikes, dropping 17 guided aerial bombs. The enemy also carried out 168 attacks, three of them using multiple-launch rocket systems.
In the Southern-Slobozhanske direction, Ukrainian forces successfully stopped four enemy attacks near Vovchansk.
In the Kupiansk direction, the invaders conducted two attacks, but defenders repelled their assault actions near Pishchane.
The Lyman direction suffered 16 enemy attacks — Russians attempted to break through the defense near Hrekivka, Serednie, Derylove, Zarichne, Myrne, and in the directions of Oleksandrivka, Stavky, and Torske.
In the Sloviansk direction, the Defense Forces repelled six attacks near Yampil, Dronivka, and Serebrianka.
In the Kramatorsk direction, one combat engagement took place near Chasiv Yar.
The Kostiantynivka direction came under 18 enemy attacks in the areas of Oleksandro-Shultyne, Pleshchiivka, Shcherbynivka, Kleban-Byk, Yablunivka, and in the directions of Kostiantynivka, Ivanopillia, Rusyn Yar, Novopavlivka, and Sofiivka.
In the Pokrovsk direction, defenders stopped 53 assault actions by the aggressor. The enemy attacked toward Novyi Shakhove, Novyi Donbas, Bilytske, Rodynske, Chervonyi Lyman, Pokrovsk, Hryshyne, Myrnohrad, and Molodetske.
The enemy also attempted to advance near Shakhove, Novoekonomichne, Zvirove, Kotlyne, Udachne, Dachne, and Filiia.
In the Oleksandrivka direction, Russians carried out 14 attacks near Yalta, Sosnivka, Verbove, Vorone, Zlahoda, Krasnohirske, Pryvilne, Solodke, and toward Vyshneve.
The Huliaipole direction suffered 20 enemy attacks — the Defense Forces repelled them in the areas of Rybne, Radisne, Varvarivka, Dobropillia, Zelene, and Huliaipole.
In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy twice attempted to break through Ukrainian defenses toward Novoandriivka and Prymorske, but failed.
In the Prydniprovsk direction, the enemy made one attempt to break through near the Antonivskyi Bridge, but was unsuccessful.
Over the past day, Ukrainian aviation struck five areas where the enemy had concentrated personnel, weapons, and military equipment.
As a reminder, the Ukrainian Armed Forces eliminated another 810 Russian soldiers and hundreds of enemy drones in a day.
Ukrainian forces also have successes in two hot directions.
