Over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have eliminated 1,340 Russian occupiers and destroyed 66 artillery systems
Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian forces have eliminated another 1,340 Russian occupiers. The Defense Forces also destroyed three tanks, 66 artillery systems, 1,801 tactical-level drones, and 420 enemy vehicles.
According to the General Staff, since the start of the full-scale invasion, the estimated losses of the Russian army are as follows:
- personnel — approximately 1,424,620 (+1,340) soldiers;
- tanks — 12,144 (+3);
- armored fighting vehicles — 24,940 (+2);
- artillery systems — 46,019 (+66);
- multiple launch rocket systems — 1,936;
- air defense systems — 1,492;
- aircraft — 437;
- helicopters — 353;
- operational-tactical-level unmanned aerial vehicles — 411,005 (+1,801);
- cruise missiles — 4,906;
- ships and boats — 31;
- submarines — 2;
- ground-based robotic systems — 1,919 (+12);
- vehicles and tanker trucks — 120,727 (+420);
- special-purpose vehicles — 4,420 (+4).

The General Staff notes that the figures provided are preliminary and subject to revision.

As a reminder, 279 combat engagements were recorded on the front lines over the past day. Russian troops launched one missile strike using four missiles, carried out 88 airstrikes, dropping 295 guided bombs, deployed 9,922 kamikaze drones, and carried out 3,148 shelling attacks on Defense Forces positions and populated areas, including 42 using multiple-launch rocket systems.
On the night of July 16, Russian terrorists fired ballistic missiles at Kyiv, resulting in fires at warehouses and non-residential buildings in two districts of the capital. There are also reports of casualties and injuries.
