Zaporizhzhia has become a transit hub for “Shahed” drones from temporarily occupied territories
Frontline Zaporizhzhia has turned into a transit hub for enemy “Shahed” drones launched from the temporarily occupied territory of the region.
This was stated on television by the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov.
“Zaporizhzhia is a transit centre for ‘Shaheds’ that the enemy launches from the temporarily occupied territories. Over the past day, more than 30 ‘Shaheds’ flew past Zaporizhzhia, some of them were destroyed thanks to our Armed Forces of Ukraine,” Fedorov said.
He added that the number of attacks has increased significantly recently, but the enemy has failed to carry out its plans in the region.
Fedorov уточнив that defenders are shooting down a large number of aerial targets. According to the DELTA system rankings, last month two Zaporizhzhia units became national leaders in Ukraine in destroying enemy aerial targets.
