Among the legionnaires were young soldiers, such as 24-year-old "Mukha" and others. They noted that they feel understanding with Ukrainian soldiers and perform tasks on an equal footing with them. Not only in everyday life, but also in terms of combat interaction, Colombian soldiers support the Ukrainian military, which allows them to rest during their duties. The combat experience and motivation of the legionnaires strengthens Ukraine's strategic potential in the fight for freedom.
According to information, about 2,000 Colombians have already arrived in Ukraine as contract soldiers, receiving preliminary training in a language that is easier to learn. Their presence and contribution to the fighting underscores the global support for Ukraine in its efforts to resist aggression. The contingent reportedly also includes soldiers from other Latin American countries, indicating broad international solidarity with the Ukrainian conflict.
