Ukraine’s Defence Forces continue to hold back intense pressure from Russian invaders, who carried out 230 combat engagements along the entire frontline over the past dayThis was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The most critical situation remains on the Pokrovsk axis, where Ukrainian defenders stopped 50 offensive actions by the aggressor, preventing the enemy from advancing deeper into Ukrainian territory.

Over the past 24 hours, Russian occupation forces used an unprecedented amount of weaponry in attacks on Ukrainian positions and civilian cities. The enemy launched two missile strikes using 44 missiles and carried out 80 air raids, dropping 268 guided aerial bombs.

In addition, the invaders deployed more than 6,600 kamikaze drones and conducted over 3,000 shelling attacks in an attempt to destroy Ukrainian defensive lines.

Ukrainian troops continue to firmly repel all attempts by the enemy to shift the frontline in its favour.

Besides Pokrovsk, exceptionally high enemy activity was recorded on the Huliaipole axis, where 35 assault attempts were documented.

On the Kostiantynivka axis, the invaders attacked 24 times, attempting to break through towards the settlements of Ivanopillia and Illinivka.

Significant enemy forces were also concentrated on the Lyman and Pivdenno-Slobozhanskyi axes, but all attacks were successfully repelled.

Earlier, the enemy reportedly advanced near three settlements on the Sloviansk axis.

It was also reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine liberated eight settlements and about 400 square kilometres in southern Ukraine.
