Zelenskyy has approved new long-range operations against Russia

On September 19, Volodymyr Zelenskyy approved new long-range operations. The president did not provide any further details regarding the upcoming operations.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy heard reports from Defense Minister Yevhen Khmara and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Mykhailo Drapato and approved new long-range operations in response to Russian strikes. This was reported by “Glavkom.”

“Decisions are being prepared to update management approaches and the response system to challenges within the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine’s Medical Forces following a change in leadership. The main goal is to scale up successful practices used in combat brigades and in all effective brigade support services as much as possible. Scaling up the successful experience of the Armed Forces is a priority for commanders at all levels,” Zelenskyy wrote.

According to the president, he also discussed with the minister and the commander-in-chief the updating of the regulatory framework and approaches to recruiting foreign volunteers to serve in the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

“Anyone who feels that our defense of Ukraine’s independence is of global significance should be given a proper opportunity to prove themselves and receive the respect they deserve. I am grateful to all foreign volunteers who have already made a significant contribution to the defense of Ukraine, our independence, and our people’s right to live as they should in a sovereign state,” the head of state noted.

In addition, Zelenskyy approved new long-range operations in response to Russian strikes.

“We are preparing to expand our long-range capabilities,” he noted.

The president also thanked all weapons developers and manufacturers, engineers, and experts involved who are working literally around the clock to counter jet-powered “shahids.” There are already several designs that have proven their effectiveness in real-world use and in shooting down jet-powered “Shaheds.”

“We are working to ensure systematic deployment, consistent effectiveness in shootdowns, and the necessary mass production. Together with the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, we have identified further priorities for active operations on the front lines. Glory to Ukraine!” Zelenskyy concluded.

As a reminder, on the night of September 19, Russian terrorist forces launched a massive attack on Ukraine, deploying two “Zircon” anti-ship missiles, 174 strike drones, and “Banderole” drones. Air defense forces destroyed most of the enemy targets.

On the night of Saturday, September 19, the Russian terrorist army struck Pavlohrad. A fire has been reported.

On the evening of Friday, September 18, Russian terrorists struck Sumy with guided bombs. One of the bombs hit a high-rise residential building in the city, killing two people.
