Zelensky: AFU liberated 460 sq km during winter–spring counteroffensive
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has said that Ukrainian forces have liberated around 460 square kilometres of territory since the beginning of the year as part of a winter–spring counteroffensive in the southern direction.
The head of state made the statement in an interview with Corriere della Sera.
Responding to a question about the progress of the Defence Forces, Zelensky specified: “We have regained 460 square kilometres since the beginning of the year.”
The Defence Forces also struck a space communications centre and enemy air defence facilities.
Powerful explosions were previously reported at the Belbek Airfield in Crimea.
In addition, drones attacked the Ilsky oil refinery and Sevastopol.
