AFU hold Fedorivka and Riznykivka in Donetsk — spokesperson for “East” grouping
Ukrainian defenders continue to control the settlements of Fedorivka and Riznykivka in Donetsk region.
This was stated by Major Hryhoriy Shapoval, spokesperson for the “East” military grouping.
“Fedorivka and Riznykivka are under our control, positions are secure, and logistics are regulated by us,” the spokesperson emphasized.
According to him, Ukraine’s Defence Forces are repelling and destroying the enemy in this sector.
“Statements from the Russian side are refuted. Our forces hold the lines; trust official sources,” Shapoval added.
The total combat losses of Russian forces since the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine — from 24 February 2022 to 3 March 2026 — are estimated at around 1,268,520 personnel, with 790 occupiers eliminated over the past day.
Ukrainian troops successfully repelled enemy attacks near the village of Zlahoda (formerly Pershotravneve) in the Pokrovsk settlement community, as well as near the villages of Novomykolaivka, Stepove, and Ternove in the Velykomykhailivka rural community of Synelnykove district, Dnipropetrovsk region. Successful operations also occurred near the village of Novohryhorivka in the Huliaipole urban community of Polohy district, Zaporizhzhia region.
The Defence Forces struck a space communications centre and enemy air defence facilities.
Powerful explosions were previously reported at the Belbek Airfield in Crimea. In addition, drones attacked the Ilsky oil refinery and Sevastopol.
