Ukrainian forces strike ammunition depot in Donetsk region and destroy equipment being evacuated

After striking an ammunition depot belonging to Russian forces in the Donetsk region, Ukrainian troops carried out an additional attack on enemy equipment that was being evacuated from the area.

This was reported by the military on Telegram.

According to the source, a series of explosions occurred on 11 March near the settlement of Shyroka Balka. A Russian ammunition depot was hit in the strike.

After the detonation, an urgent evacuation of military equipment began. Columns of vehicles moved westward in an attempt to leave the strike area.

About half an hour later, Ukrainian forces carried out a second strike on equipment that had reached the settlement of Mangush, located about eight kilometres west of the initial strike location.

As a result of the attack, five pieces of military equipment were destroyed. Information is also being received about Russian soldiers killed and wounded.

According to the source, all attacks on Russian targets were carried out using unmanned aerial vehicles.

After the occupation of Mariupol and nearby areas, Russian forces have actively used local infrastructure for military purposes, including the placement of ammunition depots for artillery and missile systems.

The total combat losses of the Russian army in the war against Ukraine from 24 February 2022 to 13 March 2026 amount to about 1,277,620 military personnel. Over the past day, Ukrainian defenders eliminated another 860 occupiers.

Over the past twenty-four hours, Ukrainian troops repelled 122 enemy attacks along the entire front line. The most intense fighting was recorded in the Huliaipole and Kostiantynivka directions.

In the Zaporizhzhia region, Ukrainian soldiers destroyed a Merlin-VR drone.
