Russia lost another 860 troops on the front line in the past day, Ukraine’s General Staff said
The total combat losses of the Russian army in the war against Ukraine from 24 February 2022 to 13 March 2026 amount to approximately 1,277,620 military personnel. Over the past twenty-four hours, Ukrainian defenders eliminated another 860 occupiers.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook.
As of 13 March, Ukrainian forces have also destroyed a significant amount of Russian equipment. In particular:
- 11,773 (+7) tanks;
- 24,202 (+5) armoured combat vehicles;
- 38,369 (+50) artillery systems;
- 1,685 (+4) multiple launch rocket systems;
- 1,331 (+2) air defence systems;
- 435 (+0) aircraft;
- 349 (+0) helicopters;
- 175,139 (+2,071) operational and tactical level unmanned aerial vehicles;
- 4,403 (+0) cruise missiles;
- 31 (+0) ships or boats;
- 2 (+0) submarines;
- 83,223 (+189) units of automotive equipment and fuel tankers;
- 4,088 (+0) units of special equipment.
The General Staff noted that the calculation of losses is ongoing and that the figures may be clarified.
Over the past twenty-four hours, Ukrainian troops repelled 122 enemy attacks along the entire front line. The most intense fighting was recorded in the Huliaipole and Kostiantynivka directions. The enemy used air strikes, kamikaze drones, and artillery, but the defence forces inflicted systematic fire damage on the occupiers.
In the Zaporizhzhia region, Ukrainian soldiers destroyed a Merlin-VR drone.
