Ukrainian Armed Forces strike Russian ammunition depot and drone command post overnight

Ukraine’s Defence Forces carried out overnight strikes on 4 March against several logistical facilities and concentrations of Russian occupying troops. In particular, an ammunition depot and a drone command post were hit. The attacks targeted important Russian military facilities in temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.

This was reported with reference to the Telegram channel of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to the General Staff, as part of efforts to reduce the offensive potential of the Russian aggressor, units of Ukraine’s Defence Forces struck:

  • an ammunition storage depot near Nyzhnia Krynka;
  • a logistics and material supply depot near Chystiakove in temporarily occupied Donetsk region;
  • a ground relay station for a command post controlling “Geran/Gerbera” strike drones in the area of Chornomorske in temporarily occupied Crimea.

Ukrainian forces also struck enemy troop concentrations on the outskirts of Berezove in the Dnipropetrovsk regionand near Pokrovsk in the Donetsk region.

Enemy losses and the extent of the damage are being clarified.

The Defence Forces also hit key Russian air defence facilities and drone command posts.

Earlier, on the Kupiansk front, Ukrainian forces destroyed a camouflaged MT-LB armoured vehicle and enemy drones.

It was also reported that drones attacked the “VNIIR-Progress” plant in Cheboksary, Russia.
