The 13-year-old daughter of Hollywood actor Chad Lowe committed suicide
Hollywood actor Chad Lowe, known for his role in the TV series “Pretty Little Liars,” and his family are mourning a tragic loss. The cause of death of his 13-year-old daughter, Fiona, who passed away in late September, has been revealed.
According to the official report from the medical examiner, the 13-year-old girl committed suicide while in the hospital.
The actor’s family and his wife, Kim Painter, confirmed the tragedy in an official statement. Her parents said that Fiona was intelligent, creative, and loved to dance. The girl’s death was a devastating blow to the entire family, especially to her two sisters—17-year-old Mabel and 10-year-old Nixie.
“She was the light of our lives. Her death has been a devastating blow to our entire family; we ask for your prayers and respect for our privacy during this time,” the family said in a public statement.

At the end of their statement, the actor’s family emphasized the importance of mental health and provided contact information for crisis hotlines and suicide prevention services.
The girl’s grandfather, Charles “Chuck” Lowe, also honored her memory on social media. He posted a photo of his granddaughter in a swimming pool with a heartbreaking caption: “Rest in peace, dear Fiona.”
It is noted that Fiona was a very popular student and had many friends. The administration of the school where she studied informed her parents of the tragedy and arranged for counselors to provide psychological support to students and staff.
