Arab Parliament condemns Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia — Asharq Al-Awsat
The Arab Parliament condemned missile and drone attacks on the cities of Khamis Mushait, Abha, and Taif in Saudi Arabia. According to the parliament's statement, the attacks were carried out by the Houthis. The parliament reported that several civilians were injured, while residential buildings and vehicles were damaged.
Statement by the parliament speaker
Arab Parliament Speaker Mohammed Al-Yamahi called the attacks a violation of international law, international humanitarian law, the UN Charter, and relevant UN Security Council resolutions. This was reported by Asharq Al-Awsat, citing the Saudi Press Agency.

Al-Yamahi declared the Arab Parliament's solidarity with Saudi Arabia and support for the measures the kingdom is taking to protect its sovereignty, security, stability, citizens, and residents. He also stressed that Saudi Arabia's security is an integral part of the pan-Arab national security system.
Call to the UN Security Council
The Arab Parliament called on the UN Security Council to fulfill its duties, take a firm stance to stop repeated attacks, and hold those involved and their supporters accountable. The statement said such steps should help preserve security and stability in the region.
