Israeli army says it killed Be’eri abductor — Jerusalem Post
In Israel, the Defense Forces said that during strikes in the Gaza Strip on Tuesday, they killed two militants, including a participant in the abduction of hostages from Kibbutz Be’eri on October 7. As the Jerusalem Post reports, the military announced this on Thursday.
Strike on Gaza City
According to the Israeli army, Muhammad Jamal Mahmoud Abu al-Sha'ar was killed in a strike on Gaza City. The military described him as a cell commander in Hamas's military wing, the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades.
The Israeli military claims that Abu al-Sha'ar entered Kibbutz Be’eri on October 7 and abducted Sharon Hertzman-Avigdori, Noam Avigdori, Adi Shoham, Naveh Shoham, Yahel Shoham and Shoshan Haran to the Gaza Strip. All the listed hostages were released in November 2023.

Second militant
The Israeli army also reported the death of Musab Abd al-Jalil Saqib Balbisi in a strike on Jabalia. According to the military, he was a commander in the military wing of Palestinian Islamic Jihad and also entered southern Israel on October 7.
The Israeli army said that both men were involved in planning attacks against Israeli citizens.
