Suspected stabbing reported near Jerusalem’s Damascus Gate
A suspected stabbing occurred near Damascus Gate in Jerusalem’s Old City on Friday morning, lightly wounding a man in his 30s. This was reported by The Jerusalem Post, citing United Hatzalah.
Injured man taken to hospital
According to United Hatzalah, the man was taken to Shaare Zedek Medical Center for further treatment. The service assessed his injuries as minor.

Police statement
Israeli police said that officers stationed in the area shot a person whom police described as a terrorist after the individual approached nearby security personnel.
