Britain and France have agreed to assemble SCALP cruise missiles in Ukraine
During a meeting at Downing Street, British Prime Minister Andy Burnham and French President Emmanuel Macron discussed next steps for launching local assembly lines for SCALP long-range missiles in Ukraine. These missiles, which are the French version of the British Storm Shadow, incorporate British technology.
The leaders emphasized the importance of working together to protect shared interests and summarized the results of the “coalition of the willing” meeting that took place last week in Kyiv.

Earlier, Ukraine received positive responses from the United Kingdom and France regarding the transfer of technologies and licenses necessary for the production of SCALP/Storm Shadow long-range missiles. The next step will be for technical teams to agree on a specific timeline for implementing the project.
Russia may resort to “paramilitary actions” against the United Kingdom to force London to cease its military support for Ukraine. Kremlin adviser Andriy Fedorov made a statement to that effect.
