Secretary of State Rubio accused Ukraine of attacking ships linked to the U.S.
Over the past few months, ships linked to the United States have repeatedly been targeted by Ukraine. This was stated by U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
According to the head of the State Department, such incidents may have been unintentional, but Washington believes this situation cannot be ignored.
“Over the past few months, U.S.-affiliated vessels have repeatedly been targeted—probably unintentionally, but nonetheless—by Ukraine. We cannot allow this to happen. This problem must be resolved,” Rubio emphasized.

Earlier, the Financial Times reported that the U.S. had asked Volodymyr Zelenskyy not to attack ships near Novorossiysk so as not to create risks for Kazakh oil exports via the Caspian Pipeline Consortium, in which Americans hold a stake.
