Two Saudi oil tankers struck in Strait of Hormuz — Korea Herald
Two supertankers carrying oil from Saudi Arabia were struck by unknown munitions while exiting the Strait of Hormuz on Monday evening. This was reported by Korea Herald, citing maritime intelligence and vessel-tracking companies Marisks and Kpler.
According to Kpler, each vessel loaded 2 million barrels of Saudi oil at the Juaymah terminal last week. Saudi Aramco resumed loading and selling oil from inside the strait in August.
Strikes near Khasab
Marisks reported that the Saudi-flagged tanker Sidr was hit by unknown munitions about 16.6 nautical miles northeast of the Omani city of Khasab at around 19:52 UTC. Minutes later, the Liberia-flagged tanker Senegal Prosperity was struck by three unknown munitions about 17 nautical miles east of Khasab, the company said.

Marisks noted that all crew members of the Senegal Prosperity are safe. Sidr operator Bahri and Senegal Prosperity operator Sinokor had not responded to requests for comment at the time of publication.
Report by British service
The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations agency also reported that three munitions struck a tanker in the area as it was exiting the Strait of Hormuz. The report stated that this was likely the same incident.
Marisks assessed the nearly simultaneous incidents as a further escalation of threats in the so-called Omani corridor. Earlier on Tuesday, Iranian media reported that a Saudi oil tanker had been stopped while passing through the southern corridor of the Strait of Hormuz.
