Former Sejm Member Returns Award to Navrotsky Over Decision Regarding Zelenskyy
Former Polish Sejm deputy Piotr Fogler announced that he is returning his state award to Polish President Karol Nawrocki in protest against the revocation of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s Order of the White Eagle.
“As a symbolic gesture, I am returning my award to this official in protest against the senseless decision to strip the President of Ukraine—the Ukraine that is fighting—of his order!” Fogler wrote on Facebook.
According to him, this gesture is not directed against the president who presented him with the award, but specifically against Karol Nawrocki.
The former lawmaker also sharply criticized the Polish president and stated that he still has doubts about the final results of the presidential election.
