A former member of Pussy Riot said she worked for the FSB for three years

Former Pussy Riot member Margarita Konovalova, known as Rita Flores, stated that in 2023, the FSB forced her to cooperate.

According to her, for three years she passed information about political activists and contemporary artists to the Russian intelligence agency.

Konovalova claims she was recruited following a raid on her home, during which she and her family were threatened. She also stated that she received 50,000 rubles a month from the FSB but tried to sabotage the assignments and avoid passing on information that could endanger her acquaintances.

According to her, in 2025, the FSB allegedly offered to help her organize the murder of her former partner, Petr Verzilov.
