The FBI has added Goldie Brara to its list of the ten most wanted fugitives — The Hindu International

On September 28, the Federal Bureau of Investigation in the United States added Satindergit Singh, known as Goldie Brar, to its list of the ten most wanted fugitives. The FBI has offered a $1 million reward for information leading to his arrest.

Alleged ties to a criminal organization

According to The Hindu International, the FBI is searching for Singh due to his alleged involvement with Lawrence Bishna’s organized crime group. The bureau stated that, according to the investigation, this group is involved in violent activities in Southern California, as well as in other parts of the U.S. and Canada.

The FBI warned that Singh should be considered armed, dangerous, and a flight risk. According to the bureau, he is believed to be involved in the murders of political and religious figures, shootings, kidnappings, extortion, assaults, as well as drug and weapons trafficking.

Arrest Warrant and Charges

According to the FBI, Singh is in the United States and is believed to be the leader of the Bishna group in North America. On July 1, the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California issued a federal arrest warrant for him after charges were filed.

These include conspiracy to commit racketeering, conspiracy to interfere with and attempted interference with commerce by extortion, and conspiracy to distribute and possess controlled substances with intent to distribute.

Singh was named among the fugitives identified following Operation Hardball—a long-running federal investigation into transnational organized crime groups based in India. In July, U.S. authorities announced charges against 37 individuals linked to three such groups. According to the investigation, one of the indictments concerned the Bishna group, and Singh was allegedly one of its leaders who coordinated members and associates in various countries.
