Fico expressed his support for Orbán ahead of the election
Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico has openly expressed his support for Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán ahead of parliamentary elections in which Orbán could lose power.
Fico wrote about this on his X.
The Slovakian prime minister stated that he would be following the Hungarian elections during his visit to Vietnam.
"I wish Viktor Orbán success in achieving all his political goals in the parliamentary elections. Throughout my long political career, I have never met such a resolute defender of his country’s sovereignty and national interests as Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán," he noted.
Fico added that he and Orbán are making “enormous efforts to develop high-quality friendly relations between our countries and ensure excellent conditions for national minorities.”
Orbán warned of the danger to Hungaryin the event of his defeat in the elections.
As a reminder, despite Orbán’s opposition, Ukraine will receive 90 billion: IPA President Galina Heilo on EU plans to finance the country.
Balázs Orbán, political director to Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, assured that Ukraine does not pose a military threat to his country.
