Poland’s Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski praised Ukrainian immigrants for their economic activity

Poland’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Radoslaw Sikorski, during a speech in the Sejm on Thursday, 26 February, praised Ukrainian immigrants for their high level of economic activity in Poland.

Sikorski’s statement was reported by Onet.

Sikorski delivered a speech on Poland’s foreign policy for 2026 and mentioned the involvement of Ukrainians in the Polish labour market.

“The level of professional activity of adult immigrants from Ukraine is even higher than among Poles. Since 2022, Ukrainians have established more than 120 thousand companies in Poland. They hire people and pay taxes. These enterprises increase our trade exchange with Ukraine,” Sikorski said.

He added that in peacetime the role of Ukrainian immigrants will increase.

“For four years, we have been showing what the slogan ‘Polish solidarity’ means,” the head of Poland’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs noted.

A vivid example of such activity is the leader of the beauty and cosmetology industry in Poland, Leo Beauty Club.

As part of the development of the educational direction and the continuous improvement of specialists’ qualifications, Leo Beauty Club recently made another important step towards professional growth and international integration. The company sent two of its leading cosmetologist doctors to the largest global congress on aesthetic cosmetology, IMCAS 2026 Paris.

Earlier the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, held negotiations with the Marshal of the Sejm of Poland, Włodzimierz Czarzasty. During the meeting, European integration, energy security, and further defence cooperation were discussed.
