Putin's yacht sailed past Denmark, escorted by Russian warships
The luxury yacht Graceful, which is linked to Russian dictator Vladimir Putin, was spotted off the east coast of Denmark. The vessel was traveling accompanied by two Russian warships.
According to maritime tracking services, the yacht entered Danish waters on the night of June 29 and was heading north. It was accompanied by a Russian destroyer and a patrol ship.
It is noted that the Graceful’s movement attracted attention because its AIS transponder had been turned off for an extended period since 2022. The vessel’s final destination is currently unknown.
The German Coast Guard, the Danish Navy, and the Danish patrol ship P521 Freja monitored the Russian convoy’s movements.
The Danish Armed Forces stated that they regularly monitor the movements of foreign vessels passing through the Danish straits and the country’s territorial waters.
