Iran has threatened the U.S. with the opening of "new fronts" in the event of further strikes

Iran has threatened the United States with the opening of "new fronts" should military attacks resume.

This was stated by Iranian Armed Forces spokesman Mohammad Akraminia.

According to him, in the event of new aggression, Tehran will respond with “new fronts, new weapons, and new methods.”

The statement came after U.S. President Donald Trump said that the leaders of Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE had asked him to refrain from a planned military strike against Iran due to ongoing negotiations.

The Iranian military spokesman also stated that Tehran had used the ceasefire to strengthen its combat capabilities.

“The only path for the enemy is to respect the Iranian nation and abide by the legitimate rights of the Islamic Republic,” Akraminia said.

Separately, he emphasized that Iran retains control over the Strait of Hormuz and can establish its own rules for the passage of ships through the strategic sea route.

Amid escalating tensions between the parties, diplomatic contacts are ongoing regarding a possible resolution of the conflict. Among its conditions for negotiations, Iran cites the unfreezing of assets, the lifting of sanctions, and compensation for damages.

Earlier, Trump announced the continuation of the military campaign against Iran

The U.S. Central Command stated that Iran has been significantly weakened following the conflict with the United States and is no longer capable of operating with its former military might. Officials in Washington assert that strikes on Tehran’s infrastructure and allies will have long-term consequences.
