Callas presented the fourth pillar of security guarantees for Ukraine
During the EU Foreign Affairs Council meeting in Luxembourg, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas presented the “fourth pillar” of future security guarantees for Ukraine. According to her, EU foreign ministers agreed to continue working in this direction.

“Today, there was broad support for advancing the ‘fourth pillar’ of European security guarantees, focused on defense sector reform, hybrid and cyber threats, as well as veterans,” Callas said.
As a reminder, the three previously known “pillars” of EU security guarantees for Ukraine are as follows:
Military support for Ukraine (including the EUMAM training mission).
Civilian support (including training programs for police and border guards).
Defense-industrial cooperation with Ukraine.
