Chinese clients do not need to travel; they simply send genetic material and pay around $200,000 for the entire process. Xu Bo, a billionaire game developer and feminist critic, mainly raises sons, believing they outperform women. Another businessman planned to have ten daughters to marry them off strategically to young lords.
This practice reflects a new level of leveraging technology to maintain status and influence among China's elite.
