Queen Margrethe of Denmark, 86, was discharged from the hospital on Tuesday, May 19.
This was announced by the Danish Royal House.
The Queen of Denmark was discharged from the hospital and is returning to Fredensborg Palace today.
"Queen Margrethe would also like to express her gratitude for the many words of support and letters sent to Her Majesty," the Danish Royal House noted.
It is worth noting that a few days ago, she underwent an angioplasty procedure (a minimally invasive surgery performed to treat narrowing or blockage of arteries and veins) after being hospitalized due to chest pain.
Queen Margrethe has been hospitalized several times in recent years. She turned 86 on April 16. Last May, the queen was hospitalized for observation due to a cold and was discharged a few days later.

On her doctors’ advice, Margrethe II decided to quit smoking, a habit she had started at age 17.
