Latvia became the largest supplier of vodka to Russia in 2026
Latvia became the leading foreign supplier of vodka to Russia in the first quarter of 2026. It accounted for about 70% of all vodka imports.
In January–March, Russian companies imported $2.6 million worth of vodka from Latvia. Spain ranked second in terms of supply volume at $537,400, while Georgia came in third at $203,700.
Lithuania and Armenia also made the top five, exporting $103,100 and $102,700 worth of products, respectively. Other suppliers included Germany, Estonia, Finland, France, and Italy.
In total, Russia imported $3.7 million worth of vodka in the first quarter of 2026, with approximately 70% of that coming from Latvia.
