Lithuania has provided Ukraine with nine vehicles for its Defense Forces
Lithuania has donated nine vehicles to the Ukrainian military, which will be used by units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces. The handover was organized with the help of volunteers and the Kyiv City Military Administration.
Ukraine received nine vehicles from Lithuania for the needs of the Defense Forces. The vehicles were donated free of charge to Ukrainian military units. The handover was organized at the initiative of the charitable organization “Volunteer Coordination Headquarters Charitable Foundation.” The “General Strength of Ukraine” Charitable Foundation also joined in the effort.
The Kyiv City Military Administration (KCMA) coordinated the transfer of the vehicles to the Ukrainian side. As a result, nine vehicles were sent for use by units of the Defense Forces. The vehicles are an important part of military logistics. They are used to transport personnel, equipment, ammunition, and other necessary cargo.

Andriy Tkachov, Acting Head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, thanked Lithuania for its support of Ukraine. “We are deeply grateful to the Lithuanian people for their unwavering support of Ukraine. We thank the initiators and donors for their invaluable work, which helps our soldiers,” Tkachov said.
He also highlighted the work of volunteers and donors who helped organize the delivery of the vehicles.
Lithuania’s support for Ukraine continues
Since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion, Lithuania has supported Ukraine and regularly provided aid to the Ukrainian military. This goes beyond just weapons and military equipment. Ukrainian units also need ordinary vehicles to help transport troops and essential supplies more quickly. For soldiers on the front lines, a reliable vehicle is often an indispensable means of transportation. It is needed to carry out daily tasks, conduct evacuations, transport equipment, and move between positions.
This time, Ukrainian units received nine vehicles. The handover served as yet another example of the practical assistance Ukraine receives from Lithuania and Lithuanian donors. The Kyiv City Military Administration emphasized the importance of such support and thanked everyone who contributed to the delivery of the vehicles to Ukrainian defenders.
