Foreign ministers of seven countries to visit Riga
In Riga, Latvia, on September 9, Foreign Minister Baiba Braže will host seven counterparts from the Netherlands, Poland, Hungary, Finland, Ireland, Croatia and Norway. They will arrive in the Latvian capital to participate in the Riga Conference and the Nordic Resilience Summit, LSM English reports.

Riga is expecting Netherlands Foreign Minister Tom Berendsen, Poland’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski, Hungary’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Anita Orbán, Finnish Foreign Minister Elina Valtonen, Irish Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade Helen McEntee, Croatian Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Gordan Grlić Radman, as well as Norwegian Foreign Minister Espen Barth Eide.

During his visit, Tom Berendsen is also expected to visit Latvia’s eastern border region and the Terehova border crossing point. Radosław Sikorski plans to meet Polish military personnel at the military base in Ādaži.
Elina Valtonen will speak at the Riga Conference 2026 business forum. Helen McEntee and Espen Barth Eide will take part in discussions at the Riga Conference on September 10. On the evening of September 9, Baiba Braže will host a working dinner for her counterparts from Poland, Hungary, Finland, Ireland, Norway and Croatia.
