NATO Supports Ukraine's Strikes Deep Inside Russia — President of Finland

Finnish President Alexander Stubb stated that Vladimir Putin will not stop the war—neither because of the enormous losses suffered by his army nor because of the economic downturn—and that an end to the conflict is possible only if public opinion within Russia itself changes. That is precisely why NATO countries, including the United States, are currently supporting Ukraine’s large-scale campaign to strike Russian territory, with the aim of forcing Moscow to return to the negotiating table.

According to Stubb, despite ongoing concerns about a potential escalation by the Kremlin or the use of nuclear weapons, the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ successful drone campaign has radically changed the U.S. strategic assessment of the war’s course and significantly strengthened Kyiv’s negotiating position. The Finnish leader emphasized that all international partners, including the United States, now recognize Ukraine’s dominance on the battlefield, which has significantly influenced the views of countries attempting to act as mediators in the global peace process.
