The Princess of Norway made her first public appearance after her lung transplant
Norway’s Crown Princess Mette-Marit, who underwent a lung transplant in June, has returned to the royal palace. The royal family has released the first photos of the princess since her surgery.
In the photos, Mette-Marit is seen with her husband, Crown Prince Haakon, watching the Norway national soccer team’s match against Brazil. In another photo, the couple is watching the Norwegian team’s victory celebrations from a palace window.
In June, the Royal Palace reported that the lung transplant surgery had been successful, and the princess has now returned home and is continuing her recovery.
