The Netherlands has stated that it has exhausted its options for providing military aid to Ukraine

The Netherlands no longer has sufficient resources to continue providing direct military support to Ukraine. Representatives of the country made this statement, noting that all available options in this regard have already been exhausted.

At the same time, Dutch officials emphasized the importance of continuing to support Ukraine and participating in joint international aid initiatives.

Yeşilgöz-Zegerius noted that she would call on other countries to help Ukraine, adding that the Netherlands, in her words, had done everything it could.

“We, as the Netherlands, no longer have any further capacity, because we have already done so much,” she said.

Responding to a specific question about new requests for missiles for the Patriot systems, Yesilgöz-Zegerus replied, “We have reached the limit of our capabilities.”

The Netherlands has spent 9.1 billion euros on military support for Ukraine and has also planned additional spending of 11.6 billion euros.

Currently, the country has allocated 1 billion euros to the PURL program, under which European allies pay for the delivery of U.S.-made weapons to Ukraine.

Dutch Defense Minister Dylan Yesilgöz-Zegerus made this statement on the sidelines of the NATO summit, as quoted by Bloomberg.

The Netherlands is ready to host a special tribunal on Russia.
