Rutte Responded to the Attack on a Train Near the Polish Border
NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte stated that the attack on a passenger train near the Polish border is evidence of Russian dictator Vladimir Putin’s desperation. At the same time, according to Rutte, this strike has not intimidated NATO, and the Alliance’s support for Ukraine will continue.

Rutte noted that Russia’s attack on a Ukrainian passenger train demonstrates the Kremlin leader’s desperation.
According to the NATO Secretary General, Russia is becoming increasingly reckless in its continued war in Ukraine.
“Yesterday’s strike on a passenger train in Ukraine near NATO territory shows Putin’s desperation. He thinks he can stop us from supporting Ukraine, that he can undermine our unity. He is mistaken,” Rutte said.
The allies’ response will be to increase support for Ukraine so that the country has everything it needs for its defense, he noted.
Rutte also promised that NATO would do everything possible to protect every centimeter of the territory of Alliance member states.

The Kremlin commented on the strike on a train near the border with Poland and vowed to continue such attacks.
The “Starokozache–Tudora” border crossing on the border with Moldova has resumed operations following a nighttime attack by Russian drones. Currently, vehicle processing is proceeding as usual in both directions.
All border crossings in Ukraine are currently operating as usual, including those that had previously been targeted by Russian attacks.
