Russia Threatens to Strike British Factories Over Missiles for Ukraine — The Telegraph

Kremlin adviser Andrei Fedorov stated that Moscow does not rule out “paramilitary” actions against British companies that manufacture drones and components for missiles supplied to Ukraine. The threat came after London’s decision to provide Kyiv with blueprints for SCALP/Storm Shadow long-range missiles to help Ukraine develop its own production capabilities.

According to Fedorov, possible scenarios could include cyberattacks or other actions against companies that manufacture drones or Storm Shadow missile components for Ukraine.

“There could be various political moves, and I cannot rule out 100 percent the possibility that there could be, for example, some kind of paramilitary actions,” the Russian representative said.

He clarified that such attacks might not be carried out directly by Russia, but rather “by unknown sources.”

“Something could happen to the companies and factories that produce drones for Ukraine,” Fedorov said.

The former Russian Deputy Foreign Minister also stated that pressure is being exerted on Putin to take action against the United Kingdom.

According to him, sooner or later, Moscow’s response may not be merely verbal but also “visible.”

Russian authorities have previously criticized London’s decision to share information and blueprints related to Storm Shadow missiles with Ukraine. Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov called the exchange of such data “adding fuel to the fire” of the war.

Despite Moscow’s threats, the United Kingdom continues to expand its military and intelligence cooperation with Ukraine.

Last week, British drones were used for the first time to strike targets on Russian territory. In response, Moscow stated that London would pay a “higher price” for supporting Kyiv.

During his visit to Kyiv, British Prime Minister Andy Burnham also emphasized the need for continued support for Ukraine and condemned Russia’s threats.

Ukraine, for its part, shared intelligence with the UK that could help counter Russian spies and sabotage operations.

As a reminder, during his first visit to Kyiv, British Prime Minister Andy Burnham stated his readiness to grant Ukraine access to classified information related to the British components of SCALP missiles.

In Kyiv, Burnham called Russia’s threats “outrageous.”

Labor Party factions will pressure Burnham to recognize Israel’s actions in Gaza as genocide.
