Saudi Arabia denies talks with Netanyahu in the UAE — The Hindu
A Saudi official denied reports that representatives of the kingdom took part in a meeting in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, between Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The Hindu reported this, citing AFP.
Riyadh’s denial
The official told AFP that there had been no official meetings or talks and that Saudi Arabia’s position on Israel had not changed. He made the statement on Tuesday.

Israeli media had previously claimed that Saudi officials had allegedly attended an expanded meeting following Netanyahu’s talks with the UAE president. According to these reports, the participants allegedly discussed security cooperation, Iran, Yemen’s Houthis and regional defense systems.
Position on Israel
Saudi Arabia has stated that it will not normalize relations with Israel without a clear path toward the creation of a Palestinian state. The UAE is among the few Arab states that have official relations with Israel after signing the Abraham Accords in 2020.
