Severe flooding in Turkey: 12 people hospitalized (video)

In Turkey, heavy rains have caused widespread flooding in areas near the Black Sea coast. The water has flooded homes and businesses and swept away cars. According to local authorities, 12 people have been hospitalized.

This was reported by the AP.

As a result of the storm, at least 12 people were hospitalized with minor injuries.

Heavy rains late Tuesday evening caused rivers to overflow in the Havza district of Samsun province, causing water to rush through the streets, sweeping away cars and debris.

Basements and ground floors of several buildings were flooded.

None of the victims are in serious condition. Some made it to the hospital on their own, while others were assisted by medical teams.

Firefighters, police, and rescue teams were deployed to rescue trapped residents and clear debris.

Earlier, severe weather left more than 100 settlements in Ukraine without power.

As a reminder, in Kherson, Russian shelling has partially cut off power to the city’s Central and Korabelny districts.

Ukrenergo has announced whether the power will be cut off on April 26.
