The United States has imposed new sanctions on Iran
The United States has announced the imposition of another round of sanctions against Iran. The restrictions target specific individuals and cryptocurrency exchanges that, according to Washington, are linked to financial schemes benefiting Tehran.
According to a statement from the department, the country has imposed sanctions on four Iranian citizens and four Iranian digital asset exchanges, namely: Nobitex, Bitpin, Ramzinex, and Wallex.
The department also added that financial institutions and individuals in other countries may be subject to sanctions if they conduct certain transactions with the four aforementioned firms.
