American actress Hayden Panettiere died on August 16 at the age of 36. The first official details regarding the circumstances of her death were released by the Greenville Police Department in South Carolina.
At around 1:50 p.m. local time, an acquaintance of the actress called 911. She reported that a woman was unconscious. Emergency responders and medical personnel arrived promptly at the scene, but they were unable to save Panettiere—she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Law enforcement officials stated that a preliminary investigation found no signs of a violent death or third-party involvement.
At the same time, the exact cause and manner of death have not yet been disclosed. Forensic examinations are currently underway. There is also no evidence of suicide.
Panettiere was known for her roles in the TV series “Heroes” and “Nashville.” She was the former fiancée of Ukrainian boxer Wladimir Klitschko and the mother of his daughter, Kaya-Evdokia.
