US President Donald Trump said in Washington that he is to hold a telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin, the leader of the aggressor state, very soon. He gave this answer to reporters’ question at the White House about whether he had spoken with Putin regarding reports of a possible case of pneumonic plague in Russia.

According to Trump, the call is scheduled for “very soon.” He also said that the sides are holding “very deep discussions” and may be able to report on this the following day, Anadolu Agency reports.
