Yemen reports clashes in Taiz and airstrikes in Saada and Hudaydah — Anadolu Agency
In Yemen, government forces said they repelled an attempt by the Houthis to infiltrate positions near an important road in Taiz province and shot down a drone over the Jabal Habashi district. Fighting took place near the route that is the only field road between the city of Taiz and the southern provinces of Lahj and Aden.
As reported by Anadolu Agency, Yemeni Armed Forces spokesman Majid al-Nuzaili said the army had secured control over the Wadi al-Maqatra area in the Hayfan direction and the Haijat al-Abd road. According to him, the military forced the attackers to retreat and inflicted personnel and equipment losses on them. He did not specify the results of government forces' strikes on Houthi positions in Mocha and Taiz.
Airstrikes in the west and north
The Houthi-controlled Saba agency reported five Saudi airstrikes on Kamaran Island in the western province of Hudaydah. It also reported four strikes on the Qatabir and Marran areas in the northern province of Saada. According to the agency, one of the strikes targeted the telecommunications network in central Qatabir, while three others targeted Marran.
Clashes and movements along the front line were also recorded in the provinces of Al Bayda, Al Jawf and Al Dhale. At the same time, Aden, Hadramawt, Al Mahrah, Shabwah and Abyan, which are under government control, remained relatively calm.

Claims of missile attacks
The Houthis said they had struck military facilities in Saudi Arabia's Jizan region with ballistic missiles and drones. Their military spokesman Yahya Saree claimed that command posts, weapons depots and other military positions were targeted. These claims have no independent confirmation in the report.
Turki al-Maliki, spokesman for the coalition supporting Yemen's legitimate government, said the coalition intercepted and destroyed six ballistic missiles launched by the Houthis toward the Saudi cities of Taif and Yanbu. Saudi Civil Defense said the threat had ended in Mecca, Taif, Tabuk, Yanbu and Jeddah after warnings were issued.
The escalation in hostilities worsened the humanitarian situation: the government's Executive Unit for Internally Displaced Persons Camps said the number of registered displaced people in ten provinces had exceeded 169,000 people, or 25,116 families.
