In Gaza, a strike on a motorcycle kills Palestinian, child in critical condition — Al Jazeera
In Gaza City, Palestine, an Israeli airstrike on a motorcycle in the Sheikh Radwan area killed one Palestinian. Several other people were injured, and one child is in critical condition, Al Jazeera English reports, citing the Palestinian news agency Wafa.
Shelling of camps in the central part of the enclave
According to Wafa, on Friday the Israeli army also opened fire in the Nuseirat and al-Bureij refugee camps in the central Gaza Strip. Several people were injured in attacks on tents housing displaced persons.
Earlier this week, a paramedic and a 15-year-old schoolboy were killed in a double Israeli airstrike in Gaza City. The Israeli military said it had targeted Hamas operatives.

Warning over the state of the healthcare system
Gaza's Ministry of Health said on Wednesday that the enclave's healthcare system was on the verge of “complete collapse”. The statement said that Israel continues to limit the amount of medical aid and fuel allowed into the Gaza Strip.
On the same day, a previously damaged building collapsed in Gaza City. At least 21 people were killed, including 12 children. The Palestinian Civil Defence faced difficulties searching for bodies under the rubble because of Israel's strict restrictions on heavy equipment.
According to figures cited by Al Jazeera, at least 1,381 people have been killed in the Gaza Strip as a result of ongoing Israeli strikes since the ceasefire was announced in October 2025.
