The Main Intelligence Directorate has identified the factories producing the Russian Su-57 fighter jet
The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has released information on 103 enterprises in the aggressor state that support the production cycle of the Su-57 multi-role fighter.
This was reported by the press service of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
Intelligence officers presented an interactive 3D model of the aircraft, detailing the role of each entity in the Russian military-industrial complex’s supply chain.
Among the key identified entities is St. Petersburg-based OJSC “Krasny Oktyabr,” which manufactures auxiliary power units and gas turbine engines.
Also on the list is the National Institute of Aviation Technologies, responsible for developing multifunctional silicate cockpit glazing for the fighter jet.
The Institute of Theoretical and Applied Electrodynamics of the Russian Academy of Sciences plays a significant role in the aircraft’s development.
This institution is engaged in the development and application of special radio-absorbing coatings designed to provide the fighter with its claimed stealth characteristics.
YASHV Avia LLC is responsible for supplying the wheels—it is the direct manufacturer of aircraft tires for the Su-57. Despite their direct involvement in combat aircraft production, a significant portion of these companies still evades international pressure.
“A third of these enterprises are still not subject to restrictions by any of the countries in the sanctions coalition,” the press service of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine emphasizes.
Russia positions the Su-57 as a fifth-generation fighter designed to replace the outdated Soviet MiG-29 and Su-27 models.
However, the aircraft’s quality has raised skepticism among international partners, particularly in India, which was the project’s first major investor.
