Part of factory collapses in Karachi after fire — Dawn
In Karachi, Pakistan, part of a factory building in the Landhi district's export industrial zone collapsed as a result of a fire. The blaze also spread to a neighboring factory, Dawn reports.
Rescue operation continues
A Rescue 1122 spokesperson said that part of the factory collapsed due to the fire. Service units are at the scene conducting a rescue operation, while efforts to extinguish the blaze continued for several hours.
At the time of the report, there was no information about deaths or injuries. A Rescue 1122 spokesperson also provided information about the fire spreading to a neighboring enterprise.

Rescuers dispatched to the scene
Rescue 1122 said that after receiving the alert, its central command and coordination center immediately dispatched a fire and rescue team, a fire engine, and an ambulance to the site.
The Edhi Foundation said that its ambulances and volunteers also arrived at the fire scene. They joined the rescue operation.
