An unidentified object was discovered on the roof of a residential building in the Moldovan capital. An object resembling a drone was found on a high-rise building in a central district of Chisinau. Moldovan police have released photos of the object and are investigating the circumstances of the incident.
"This evening, a citizen called the police to report the discovery of an object resembling a drone in the central district of the capital. Explosives experts arrived at the scene and secured the area," the police statement said.
It is noted that for the safety of residents, those on the upper floors of the apartment building were temporarily evacuated until the object could be inspected and removed.
According to preliminary information, the object was damaged after striking the roof of the building. Experts will examine it in detail.
"The police continue to take measures to establish all the circumstances of the case," the Moldovan police added.
