Humanoid robot football carnival kicks off in China — ECNS
The first humanoid robot football carnival for secondary school students kicked off in Nanning, China, on Thursday. More than 40 schoolchildren from 10 educational institutions are taking part in the competition, ECNS reports.
Autonomous three-on-three matches
The program features three-on-three football matches in which the robots operate fully autonomously using artificial intelligence. All teams use Booster K1 humanoid robots.
The event is being held in Nanning, the capital of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in southern China. According to the organizers, it is the largest and highest-level humanoid robot football event for secondary school students ever held in Guangxi.

Held alongside the China-ASEAN Expo
The carnival is being held alongside the 23rd China-ASEAN Expo, which is taking place in Nanning from September 17 to 21. In addition to robot matches, the program includes scientific events, interactive demonstrations, China-ASEAN exchanges, and activities for parents and children.
One of the expo's three exhibition zones this year is dedicated to artificial intelligence and exchanges in this field. The exhibition's theme is "CAFTA 3.0 Opportunities, Better Life."
