The Kremlin has responded to reports of a possible plague outbreak in Russia

The Kremlin stated that most of the information in Russian and other media outlets regarding a possible outbreak of the plague in Russia is allegedly untrue.

According to Dmitry Peskov, a significant number of reports regarding a possible plague outbreak in Russia have appeared in the media. At the same time, the Kremlin spokesperson claims that most of this information is false.

“The media is reporting a great deal; the vast majority of what the media is reporting about this situation is false information,” Peskov said.

The Kremlin spokesman also urged the public to rely on statements from official representatives of the Russian Federation.

Thus, the Kremlin denies the accuracy of most media reports concerning a possible plague outbreak in Russia and recommends obtaining information only from official Russian sources.

This was stated by Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov while commenting on media reports regarding the situation.

In Russia’s Irkutsk region, 189 people were hospitalized following the death of a 28-year-old woman linked to an anti-plague institute. In total, authorities identified 197 people who may have come into contact with the deceased.

The World Health Organization has requested additional information from the health authorities of Russia, the aggressor state, following reports of a possible second case of pneumonic plague in Siberia. This followed the death of 28-year-old laboratory technician Daria Shipilova from the Irkutsk Anti-Plague Research Institute in the city of Shelekhov.
