In Queensland, a 19-year-old woman was shot in the arm
Police in the Australian state of Queensland are investigating a shooting in the town of Nambur on the Sunshine Coast, during which a 19-year-old woman sustained a gunshot wound to her arm. Police described her injury as non-life-threatening, according to ABC News Australia.
Law enforcement was informed that around 11:30 p.m. the previous night, the woman went to Nambur Hospital with an injury to her arm. Paramedics and police were not called to the scene of the incident.

According to police, the woman and a 19-year-old man were sitting in a car near a residential building on Image Flat Road in Nambur. A dark-colored car carrying several unidentified people approached them. Police stated that a single shot was fired from that car toward the couple, after which it drove away.
Law enforcement officials cordoned off the area near the building as a crime scene and towed the car in which the couple was sitting for further investigation. Police urged anyone with information about this incident to contact investigators.
