In Pakistan, Islamabad PTI chapter head Mughal joins advisory committee
In Pakistan, Amir Mughal, president of the PTI chapter in Islamabad, has been inducted into the Core Committee, the party’s highest advisory body. As Dawn reports, the decision took effect immediately.

The relevant notification was signed by PTI Secretary General Salman Akram Raja. The document states that Amir Mughal, president of the party’s Islamabad chapter, became a member of the Core Committee.

In a PTI statement, it was explained that Mughal was inducted into the body in view of his contribution to the party’s work and political vision. According to the publication, the personnel decision was also intended to motivate party activists.
Mughal’s statement
Mughal thanked the secretary general for the responsibility entrusted to him and said he would make every effort to contribute to the party’s struggle. He also said that he would take part in consultations on the movement for the release of PTI founder Imran Khan.
